SofThe short version
This policy covers the Sof iPhone app, its support website, and support correspondence. The developer identified on Sof’s App Store listing provides the app and can be reached at laterapp2@gmail.com.
Sof does not automatically collect or transmit your listening activity or saved app preferences to us. There are no accounts, advertising, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting services in the app. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
What stays on your device
Sof saves your most recent sound or mix, master and individual sound volumes, favorite sounds and mixes (including names you choose), sleep-timer preferences, and an active timer’s end time. Preview usage is held only in memory for the current app session and is not sent to a server.
These preferences are stored locally. Sof does not provide account-based cloud sync or send your preferences to a server. Your iPhone’s backup services may include app data according to your device settings.
Audio, permissions, and Apple services
Color noise is generated on your iPhone; ambient recordings are bundled with the app. Playback works offline. The app does not request microphone, camera, contacts, photos, health, or location access. Background audio and Lock Screen controls manage playback.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. Apple may separately process App Store, device, or diagnostic information according to your settings and its own privacy policy.
Purchases through Apple
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Sof checks Apple-verified transaction information on your device, including the product purchased, expiration, and revocation status, to unlock access and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details.
The app does not send transaction information or preview usage to a Sof server. Apple processes purchases, billing, and refunds under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple may provide the developer with sales and subscription reports through App Store Connect.
When you contact us
If you email laterapp2@gmail.com, we receive your email address, any name your email account provides, your message, and any attachments or technical details you choose to share. We use this information to respond, resolve your request, and investigate issues you report. Sending an email is optional and is not required to use Sof.
Support correspondence is handled through Gmail. Google and your email provider process messages according to their own policies. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, resolve related issues, or meet applicable legal obligations. It is not used for marketing.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent us at laterapp2@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the same person, and some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Visiting the website
The website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms, or a mailing list. Fonts and images are served with the site. Clicking an email link opens your email app; Sof does not send a message automatically.
The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times to deliver and secure the site. The hosting platform may use cookies or similar storage for access and security. These activities are separate from offline playback in the iPhone app.
Opening a website or external link uses an internet connection and the destination’s privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can change your preferences and remove individual favorites in Sof. Deleting the app removes its local data from your iPhone. Copies in device backups are managed through Apple’s backup settings and may be restored with a backup.
We do not hold a server-side copy of your listening activity or preferences to export or delete. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can address it.

We will update this policy if Sof’s privacy practices change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version.
